UNI EN
ISO 9001: 2015
(ISO 9001:2015)

The first certification of the Quality Management System was obtained on 22-12-1994, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9002: 1994. The implementations of the new processes and the evolution of the sector regulations have brought the current Quality Management System to comply with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 (ISO 9001: 2015) standard with the purposes listed below:

Production and heat treatment of magnetic laminations for electric motors and transformers for industrial and "automotive" applications. Production of assembled stators and die-cast rotors for electric motors. Design and construction of dies for shearing magnetic laminations. Aluminium and alloy components die-casting.
 
The purpose of the management system is to:

Define, verify and periodically review the objectives and targets of the system. This is to adapt them both to the changed legislative references and to the customer's requirements, with a view to continuous improvement of the product quality standard.

Identify the customer's needs and all those factors that can guarantee customer satisfaction for the quality performance of the product.

The continuous annual renewals of the certificate obtained following the strict controls by the certification body, represent for our customers a guarantee in terms of quality and reliability of our product.

UNI EN
ISO 14001: 2015

The certification of the Environmental Management System was obtained on 17-01-2007, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 (ISO 14001: 2015). With this certification, Sitem Spa undertakes to:

Respect all the laws and regulations in force for the sector of competence, in environmental matters.

Carry out an accurate analysis aimed at selecting suppliers who are environmentally reliable with whom to undertake long-lasting relationships.
 
Ensure the use of innovative technologies in order to ensure correct waste management and prevent, where economically acceptable and technically possible, environmental impacts by pursuing continuous performance improvement.

The General Management undertakes to take an active role in promoting and guiding all activities influencing the environment. The continuous annual renewals of the certificate obtained following the strict controls by the certification body, represent for our Customers a guarantee in terms seriousness and commitment.

ISO
45001

The certification, in accordance with the ISO 45001 Specification, was obtained on 07/14/2014, and is extended to all Italian Sites: Trevi (PG), Canegrate (MI), Limbiate (MB). Compliance with the international ISO 45001 standard ensures that Sitem Spa complies with the requirements laid down for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and allows for better risk assessment and improved performance.
 
The ISO 45001 standard aims to make the control, knowledge and awareness of all possible risks inherent in situations of normal and extraordinary operations in the workplace systematic. The ISO 45001 certification is based on managing health and safety at work and commits Sitem Spa to continuous improvement, thus providing all stakeholders with the guarantee of compliance with the specified safety policies.

IATF
16949:2016

The IATF 16949: 2016 standard replaces the old ISO / TS 16949 [certification obtained on 09/14/2012]. It represents indeed, the revised automotive quality management system and it is developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).

With IATF 16949: 2016, together with ISO 9001: 2015, Sitem Spa has defined the requirements of the management system for quality, development and production of products relating to the automotive sector ["Manufacture of Assembled Magnetic Parts for Electric Motors"]. This certification, in addition to allowing Sitem Spa to enter the automotive world in a structured way, guarantees a strong efficiency of the production processes and a high quality of the products supplied to its Customers.

Ethics

ORGANIZATIONAL MODEL AND CODE OF ETHICS

In order to ensure, as far as possible, the prevention of the commission of the offenses contemplated in Legislative Decree n. 231/2001 (as integrated and modified), the Board of Directors of Sitem Spa has adopted an organizational model pursuant to and for the purposes of the same Legislative Decree n. 231/2001. This Model, among other things, includes and governs: the Sitem Spa Code of Ethics, the Supervisory Body pursuant to former Legislative Decree n. 231/2001, the sanction system for employees, co-workers and Sitem Spa partners integration with the Quality, Environment and Safety management system in particular. The Code of Ethics contains an indication of the principles to which the conduct of employees, managers, administrators, contractors, co-workers, suppliers, customers and, in general, all those who come into contact with Sitem Spa.
